Bury Hospice Charity Bike Ride
Bury Hospice Charity Bike Ride
I’ve been cycling recreationally for a while now but, to spur on my exercise in these horribly cold weeks there needed to be a better cause than my waist line. What better reason to keep up the cycling than Bury Hospice and the Bury Hospice Charity Bike Ride.
Bury Hospice cares for 350 patients and their families every year. Their fabulous help have helped families through the most difficult times when their loved ones have life threatening illnesses.
We want to help fund the expansion of Bury Hospice so they have more than 5 beds and can carry out their brilliant work to more people in need of support.
Doing our bit
On Saturday 18th May 2013 twelve not so athletic guys are going to cycle 100 miles. (that’s approximately from Bury to Birmingham!) Our plan is to begin in the Lake District and cycle home to Bury – hopefully in time for a well deserved pint at The Major pub in Ramsbottom.
Now, doing your bit
For our saddle sores we are hoping for a little bit in return. We would love you to help make Bury Hospice even more amazing. Cycling is the hard bit, donating is easy, just click on this link

To check we are pedal pushing and for the latest news of who has wobbled off their bike follow us on Twitter and Facebook.
Get Your Business Involved
We are going to be wearing these T shirts whilst cycling the 100 mile route. If you would like to sponsor us and have your logo on one of all 12 of our cyclists get in touch with me.

Here are the suggested donations for that lucky spot. The question mark spot is up for grabs. The most generous donation can be featured here!
We are all very excited to get pedaling and even more excited to see Bury Hospice blossom. We can not think of a better charity to keep us going up the steepest hills. Bury Hospice’s kindness has touched the hearts of some of our cyclists and continues to make scared, ill people feel at home. Please help us get more beds for Bury.
